Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
InfoAdvise operates https://infoadvise.com/ from India. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you read our guides and insights, create an account, use a link-in-bio profile, submit a company or professional listing, or contact us. For privacy questions or requests, email support@infoadvise.com.
1. Information we collect
Account information: Your name, username, email address, account type, company name where relevant, password hash, verification status, consent records and account settings. We do not store your account password in readable form.
Profile and submission information: Content you provide for a bio page, listing or editorial submission, including descriptions, business details, professional details, links, social profiles and contact information. If image uploads are available, this includes images you submit. Provide only information you have permission to use.
Communications: Information in your support requests, correction requests, complaints and enquiries, including messages and replies. If you contact a listed business directly using its email, telephone or external website, that business handles the information you send it.
Technical information: Our website, hosting and security services may process IP addresses, browser and device details, request times, pages requested, error logs, session identifiers and records needed to prevent abuse. We do not require precise device location for ordinary signup or browsing. Location details you choose to publish in a listing are separate.
2. Google and other social sign-in
Social sign-in is optional and available only for enabled providers. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive the basic identity information authorized by you, which may include your name, email address, profile picture and a unique Google account identifier. Our login integration may also store authentication tokens needed to manage that connection. Facebook or other enabled providers may supply equivalent information, subject to their permissions and your choices.
We use this information to create or identify your InfoAdvise account, authenticate you, maintain your chosen connection and help protect the account. We do not receive your Google or Facebook password. Google sign-in does not authorize us to read your Gmail messages, contacts, Drive files or calendar, or to post to your social account.
Google account data is not sold, used for targeted advertising, or used to train generalized AI models. We limit its use and sharing to the disclosed account functions, necessary service providers, security and legal purposes. Our use of information received through Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements where applicable: https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy.
You can remove a connected provider through My Account where that control is available, or contact us for help. You can also revoke InfoAdvise access in the provider's account settings, including https://myaccount.google.com/connections for Google. Disconnecting or revoking access does not itself delete your InfoAdvise account or published submissions. Establish another working sign-in method before disconnecting your only login method.
3. Mobile verification
If mobile OTP is enabled and you choose it, we process your telephone number, verification status and request information to send codes, link the number to your account and prevent abuse. Our configured SMS verification provider, Twilio Verify, processes the number and verification transaction. Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and security signals to help prevent automated requests.
Your authentication number is not automatically published in a listing. A telephone number that you separately enter into a public listing may be visible to everyone. OTP verification does not subscribe you to marketing messages. Verification codes are checked by the verification provider; InfoAdvise does not store them as account content.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and administer accounts; verify contact details; operate profiles and listings; review and moderate submissions; respond to enquiries and complaints; send verification, password-reset and service messages; investigate misuse; maintain security and reliability; and meet applicable legal obligations.
We seek consent where required. Other processing may be necessary to provide a requested service or comply with applicable law. We will not treat acceptance of these terms or a request for an OTP as consent to unrelated marketing. Any optional marketing subscription must offer a way to withdraw.
5. Public content and private account data
Published bio pages, listings, articles and their designated public fields can be read, copied and indexed by search engines. Public fields may include your chosen name, username, business contact details, website links, location, biography and professional information. Authors and sponsorship disclosures may also be public.
Your login email, authentication telephone number and private account settings are not automatically made public by signup. If you deliberately include the same information in public content, it becomes public. Drafts and pending submissions are accessible to you and authorized people who administer or review the service; they are not intended for public display.
Do not submit confidential documents, financial account details, health records, government identification numbers or someone else's private information in a public profile. Search engines and other websites may retain copies after we remove content from InfoAdvise.
6. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed with providers supporting hosting, email delivery, account authentication, security, backups and enabled services. Our current email delivery route may use our hosting provider's MailBaby relay. Google and Facebook handle their own sign-in services; Twilio and Cloudflare are involved when the relevant mobile verification features are enabled. Providers may also process information under their own privacy notices.
Authorized administrators and reviewers may access information needed for their duties. We may disclose necessary information to comply with valid legal requests, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or manage a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards and notice where required. If an enquiry form explicitly sends your details to a listing owner, the form should identify that recipient before you submit it.
7. Cookies and third-party content
We use cookies and similar storage for login sessions, form security, remembering relevant choices and preventing abuse. Blocking these may prevent account functions from working. Sign-in and security providers may use their own cookies or identifiers during the services you choose to use.
External links lead to independently operated websites. Embedded videos, maps or social content, if present, may send your IP address and browser information to their providers when loaded. Their privacy notices govern their services. Any future non-essential analytics or advertising technologies will be described before use and offered with consent controls where required. This notice does not itself activate such technologies.
8. Optional AI features
If an AI drafting feature is made available, we will identify the provider and explain the data transfer before you use it. Text you choose to submit may be sent to that provider to generate a draft, summary or metadata suggestion. Avoid submitting confidential or unnecessary personal information. Users must review suggestions before publication. Ordinary signup and Google sign-in do not authorize sending your social-login data to an AI provider. This policy does not mean that live AI is currently enabled.
9. Retention and security
We retain account and content information while it is needed to operate your account and provide the service. We retain support, security and moderation records only as needed for their purpose, legal obligations or resolving disputes. Expired verification data and temporary security records are subject to their configured expiry or removal processes. We do not promise one retention period for every category.
Following a valid deletion request, we remove or anonymize information that is no longer needed, subject to legal requirements and legitimate dispute or security needs. Backup copies may remain until their normal replacement cycle and are not intended for continued active use. We can explain relevant retention exceptions when handling your request.
We use reasonable access controls and technical safeguards to protect information. No website, email service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Please protect your login credentials and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
10. Your choices, requests and complaints
You may ask to access or correct your account information, delete your account and associated personal data, withdraw consent to optional processing, disconnect a social account, or raise a privacy complaint. Additional rights may apply under the law relevant to you. Withdrawal does not undo processing that was lawful before it, and some features cannot operate without necessary information.
Email support@infoadvise.com with the subject “Privacy request” or “Delete my InfoAdvise account”. Include your username and the email associated with the account, and identify any public profiles or listings you want reviewed. Do not send your password or an OTP. We may ask for proportionate evidence of account ownership before acting.
Deletion is handled through this support process; a self-service deletion button is not promised. We will explain any information we must retain and any limits on removing lawful editorial material, third-party contributions or external copies. We respond within applicable legal time limits and will tell you if clarification is needed. If dissatisfied, you may use the complaint or regulatory remedies available under applicable law.
11. International processing and age eligibility
InfoAdvise operates from India. Hosting and service providers may process information in other countries. Where applicable, we use legally required safeguards for such transfers. Contact us for information about the services relevant to your account.
Account registration and submissions are intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly invite children to create accounts. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice of significant changes where appropriate or required. Where fresh consent is required, we will seek it before the relevant processing.
